Even though we are still in the heart of winter, it is never too early to start dreaming of warmer days ahead. We’ve been hard at work planning some fun and tasty events at our cidery located in Biglerville, Pennsylvania, in the coming months. Get out those calendars and grab a peek at the schedule below:
Tour de Tank Along the Mason-Dixon Wine Trail, Weekends in March, 12–5 p.m.
On Saturdays and Sundays in March, participate in the Mason-Dixon Wine Trail’s Tour de Tanks. Visit Hauser Estate Winery, home to Jack’s Hard Cider, and get a taste of fresh cider and wine right out of our tanks. Tickets for Tour de Tanks are $25 each and include the tasting, an official souvenir wine glass, a 10% discount on wine and spirit sales, an educational experience, light refreshments and more! Thirsty Thursdays in April
As the weather warms up, happy hour will get hot at Jack’s Tasting Room. We’ll have half-off all of our ciders, live music and more! Stay tuned to our events page for up-to-date information.
The Hard Cider Run, Saturday, April 16, 9 a.m.
The Hard Cider Run is back by popular demand! Dash down vineyard rows, tackle the rolling hills and see firsthand where our hand-crafted Jack’s Hard Cider is made—all while running a 5K! Each participant will receive a 2016 finisher’s medal, a glass of hard cider (soda will be available) at the finish, a commemorative glass to keep and an awesome t-shirt!
New for the 2016 run is The Hungry Apple option. Enjoy a scrumptious donut at each mile marker—if you eat all three, you’ll receive a second, exclusive The Hungry Apple medal when you cross the finish line. Yum!
We’ll be hosting packet pick-up on Friday, April 15, at the cidery, too, with half-off all ciders from 5–7 p.m. for runners as well as live music.

PA Cider Festival, Saturday, June 25, 12–4 p.m.
We’re pleased to host the inaugural PA Cider Festival right here at our cidery just outside of Historic Gettysburg. There’s a reason Gettysburg is known as “Cider Town”—we’re right in the heart of Pennsylvania’s apple country!
There will be special events all weekend long including a Meet-the-Cider-Makers Dinner at Beech Springs Farm on Friday, June 24, as well as PA cider tap takeovers, pairings, dinners and brunches throughout the Gettysburg area. Stay tuned to the blog for more details on the PA Cider Festival!
